Tree to high,leaning,damage to footpath.
Reported in the Overgrown trees category anonymously at 09:41, Wed 5 August 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2231375.
The tree branches are hanging over my property. The footpath is cracked and lifting, the tree leans over. There are brown patches on the bark and bark is missing off some of the branches. As the tree is close to my property and would cause damage if went over i would like an assessment of its condition. This tree has been reported before the council did trim some branches but did not take the top out.

Thanks for your enquiry regarding a council-owned tree.
In accordance with the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028, a qualified tree surveyor has visited the site, assessed your request and concluded that there is no need to undertake tree works.
We don't prune or remove council-owned trees because they are considered too big or too tall unless it is deemed to be dangerous.
All council-owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. We also carry out maintenance work if it's needed.
