Fallen branch narrowly missed my niece on path
Reported in the Fallen branch category anonymously at 11:32, Tue 4 August 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2230062.
I think this may have already been reported but deeply concerned as this is the second large branch i have reported. if my niece hadn't run when she heard a noise it would have hit her, luckily just scratches. Please advise what tree inspections you have in place. the other branch was outside my mothers back gate on Vineyard Road

Works recommended
Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.
A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.
Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
