Dangerous Parking

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2222810.

Residents and customers of the corner shop are parking on the pavements making access into the one-way street dangerous and requiring manoeuvring around multiple vehicles to avoid hitting them.

Should an emergency vehicle need to get through, this could provide difficult if not impossible for them to get past. Parking in Francis Gardens and Robert Avenue really needs a looking at as its dangerous and hazardous.

    Vehicles causing an obstruction is not something Peterborough City Council can deal with. This becomes the responsibility of the police as they have enforcement powers to move the vehicles where Peterborough City Council don't. Our parking enforcement team can only assist if vehicles are breaching parking restrictions.
