Resident from 29 Catherines Close called to report a dead branch hanging from a tree at the back of the property, they are concerned that with the winds this will fall onto their property

Resident has called as its the 20th working day since she reported her issue, can someone look into this and let her know whats going on? Within the last 20 days a massive branch has snapped further and falling into the garden which she is unable to move it. Resident saying there is other parts of the tree that look like breaking.

A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has been unable to recommend any further action on this occasion.
Please be aware that Aragon Direct Services manages the Council owned trees in accordance with the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.

All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one to five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
