Fence requires maintenance

Hi - the fence along the edge of the road that borders the public footpath outside my house is in need of some TLC, or it will degrade and probably need replacing in the not too distant future. It's not a long section - only about 50m long - but it needs a coat of treatment. Is this something the council is able to see to?
