Overhanging branches reducing easy access

Reported in the Public right of way - problem with access or damage category anonymously at 18:27, Friday 12 June 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2153536.

The alleyway between Pipistrelle Court and Ainsdale Drive is narrow. It is a well used route to get into Werrington Village, shops, chemist and school. However the overgrown branches and ivy is reducing access along the pathway and especially awkward when you meet someone coming the other way and trying to abide by 2m distancing. The overgrowth is in parts reducing the path by half and they are at a low level at about 4ft from the ground. At night with the light from the street light being obscured by the overgrowth it is even more awkward to get through the alley without being hit in the face by branches.
