Tree is rubbing and stretching telephone wire.
Reported in the Tree touching overhead cables category anonymously at 15:47, Thu 11 June 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2151881.
The silver birch tree outside number 71 is rubbing the telephone wire of number 73 and as the wind blows the tree is stretching the telephone wire. The lady living at No 73 is repeatedly having issues with her phone and worried that while shielding she will be cut off from her telephone which is currently her only contact with the outside world and her family. I am sure you will appreciate the worry this is causing for her. There was a similar issue a number of years ago, where the trees did snap the telephone wire.
