Road leading to school unsafe

Reported in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 09:44, Wednesday 10 June 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2149535.

I recently saw your Facebook regarding roads that need improving. I would like to bring the road between kirkstall and Braybrook to your attention in Orton Goldhay. The road isn’t the greatest and always has Aldine 20-30 parked along there at night and may more in the day time.

There is a school at the end and leads to the road being very busy. The brushes grow out and you are u able to see pulling out of your road due to bushes and unable to see traffic due to the parked vehicles.

I have nearly been in many accidents there due to the road and it is very risky considering there is a school at the end where kids could be walking along the road home from school. You are unable to see oncoming traffic and due to erratic driving as well it will lead to a accident where the consequence could be death. The emergancy services will struggle to get through their also which is very concerning. There is only small Double yellows on the corners but are pointless due to them not going very far meaning it does not help at all. I am happy to speak to you regarding any questions etc.
