Dangerous road crossing to get to Bretton Park
Reported in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 14:20, Friday 5 June 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2143535.
There is a very dangerous road crossing infront of the underpass to get to bretton park (hartwell way). It is the most used entrance to it and is extremely dangerous for children, who go to this park very often. There is always a constant flow of traffic and it is also very hard to see the coming cars due to parked cars without stepping into the road. There is no zebra crossing or sign and children often just run into the road. The same problem is with the crossing to bretton centre. I was wondering if there were any plans to build an actual crossing in those areas or at least put up a sign to show the cars to be careful as many of them drive quite fast in these two areas. If needed we can collect signatures from people living in this area. We will wait for a quick response regarding this issue.
