Overgrown trees cover street light/breaking pave

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2133948.
Resident lives at 57 Deaconscroft and at the rear of her property there is a street light PCC30 that is being covered by an overgrown tree. There is a tree that is breaking up the pavement. This tree is red in colour and resident believes the tree needs trimming

Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.
A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.
Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
