Uneven road surface following cable TV work

Reported in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 13:06, Saturday 9 May 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2110162.

Since work was carried out by cable instillation they have left a repaired trench filled with tarmac across the Gunthorpe Ridings opposite Wasdale Gardens.

The surface is uneven and dipped (particularly on the north bound lane) which now causes my property to vibrate and shake each time any large vehicle drives over it.

I am concerned that the issue could leave to longer term structural issues if left unaddressed.

This issue has only become prevalent since the cable work has been conducted in the area.

As a side issue, the cable companies have left most of the pavements unsightly with poor filling of their work.
