Litter on green wheel

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 06:28, Thursday 5 March 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 2041220.

Hi I am emailing to express my concerns regarding litter on the green wheel stretch from Crown Lakes country park in Peterborough through to Hampton Lakes. I regularly walk my dog down this stretch and litter is becoming a huge problem there are bottles, cans and all sorts of other pieces of litter scattered everywhere so much so I have decided not to walk there until this is resolved due to safety for my dog. Which is a shame as it’s a lovely footpath.

Please can you let me know what will be done regarding this.

Many thanks Becky

I have already contacted Sustrans. This is there response. Dear Ms Edwards, This needs to be reported to the Council as Sustrans has no responsibility for or authority to work on the Green Wheel. https://www.peterborough.gov.uk/ report-it-online
