Broken glass and bottles along entire footpath

Reported in the Public right of way - problem with access or damage category anonymously at 11:45, Sun 23 February 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 2015983.

The footpath starts at Bretton Way opposite the little wooden bridge into Grimshaw Wood, and runs up to Benland. Almost the entire length is glass scattered in clumps along with remains of broken beer and cider bottles. The glass has been there for several weeks and has been added to, and was not removed when a local firm of contractors were there clearing trees. Path is used by families and dog walkers so the glass is quite dangerous.
