Dangerous Wind Damaged Sign
Reported via iOS in the Traffic sign category by Upton Community Council at 11:45, Tue 18 February 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 2006082.
The direction sign pointing to helpston and Upton has partially blown off and the posts have come loose and are dangerously leaning into the road. The Community Council has temporarily put cones along side the sign to make the area safe for pedestrians. The posts will need to be dug out and put in again to make them stable and it would make sense if the sign was moved to the back of the grass verge on the opposite side of the metal gates (to the left of its original position) as it is blocked by a street light when looking at it, as well as this the direction sign pointing to Sutton is missing, as well as the sign pointing to Upton Church, these two signs will need to be replaced.
