Tree roots causing path to be raised and a hazard

Reported in the Public footpath or cyclepath category anonymously at 23:17, Sunday 2 February 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 1952131.

The tree is not the right tree it’s surroundings it is raising parts of the pathway and making it unsafe. I have seen two elderly residents trip but thankfully not fall. It’s a matter of time. This tree is one of two silver birch. The other is at an angle that suggests it will eventually fall. They should both be removed and replaced with more suitable trees. The path will continue to get damaged
