Why doesn’t someone pick up a brush and sweep in the the side if it’s that bad! This is a waste of the council’s resources! There are more important things than this that need doing!

In case there is a temptation to down grade the urgency of this problem as a result of the ill informed comment from 'anonymous' above, please be assured that it is more than just getting out a sweeping brush to clear some fallen leaves. There is a stretch of 50m or more of pavement where compacted silt and leaf mould with grass and weeds having taken root is severely restricting its width. The accident risk to pedestrians being forced off the kerb into the carriageway is high and requires urgent attention.

Let’s not get rude here, I can see where the comment came from, the council isn’t well known for getting things done in our surrounding villages, and there just making that clear. There more focused on pouring millions of taxpayers pounds into those new rhubarb bridge pedestrian crossing death traps instead of the more important things. But I completely see where that previous comment came from but whoever left the comment before this, you are also labelled as ‘anonymous’ so please don’t judge. Maybe a small team in Bainton needs to get together and just scrape it up and if someone brings a brown bin it will be a 20min job. Let’s face it, the council won’t do it.
