Sent to Peterborough City Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 1917372.
Since the road works down this street and they put the traffic lights in and 3 sets of speed bumps I think is a great idea but would be very helpful if the speed bumps were visible I ride a motorbike every morning down there around 4am and its dark and speed bumps are just black yes you would think I would remember they are there but you don't realise untill the last minute and now iv done it twice and the 2nd time on Tuesday 31st around 4am I was travelling down there towards the traffic lights around 20mph and I didn't think of the speed bump untill it was too late and my suspension bottomed out I come up off of my seat and now I need to replace the shock absorbers and they are not cheap. So is there anyway these speed bumps could be made more visible as I feel this is very dangerous and the incident I had could have been alot more worse.
