I have reported this before but nothing has been done about it!! On Monday a delivery driver was sent sprawling when he tripped on the road. I saw him do it from my front window. As he didn't get up I went outside to see if he was ok. He said the fall had knocked the wind out of him. I could see that blood was seeping through the knee of his trousers and offered to fetch him a plaster. He said that wasn't necessary as he had a first aid kit in his van. I told him I had seen what had happened from my window, but thought it prudent not to mention I had previously reported this trip hazard on Fix my Street. He spent some time in the van before coming out and taking a photo of the trip hazard. He then knocked on my door and said would I be a witness for him if his injury turned out to be more serious than he originally thought. I replied of course I would. I did ask him if he was fit to drive though with his injury, and I also thought he did appear to still be in shock, but he said he would see how he got on. He did ask me if I wouldn't mind filling up his water bottle as he had used it all up bathing his knee. I was already planning to send a photo and another report to Fix my Street today about vegetation encroaching onto the pavement on Fletton High Street, so thought I might as well take a photo of the trip hazard and send another report about this issue as well!
