Manor Drive

Reported in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 17:49, Mon 25 October 2010 ; (there is no pin shown as the user did not use the map)

Sent to Peterborough City Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 139714.

Rubbish is being thrown from cars and lorries up Manor Drive - most of the rubbish comes from lorries that park there overnight (some for days on end which is another issue) and includes cans of beer, bottles of vodka, boxes, carrier bags of rubbish, take away wrappers etc. It never gets picked up and is dirty and unsightly and then just gets 'mown to pieces' when they come to cut the grass making the problem ten times worse.

  • Problem ignored again! Have emailed them direct in response to the local magazine urging people to report these things - I am not very confident they will do anything though!

  • I contacted the gentleman below and he responded promptly and informed me that a litter pick crew would be out and they were! - I was very impressed and he assured me that Manor Drive will be on a regular litter pick in the future. His contact details are:
