Severely overgrown thorny bushes

The overgrowth is taking up at least a 1/4 of the pathway. Now the children are back to school using the walkway every morning and afternoon, kids were shoving each other into it and getting hurt. It is also groaning against and though our newly erected fence. We had to replace it as the hedges caused significant damage to the previous fence. The fence damage has been reported previously, but was ignored after photos were provided.
