Wild seeded ash abutting property

Reported via mobile in the Tree is considered to be causing damage category anonymously at 00:30, Saturday 29 August 2026

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 10019961.

Hello, I would like to request the removal of a fast-growing self-seeded tree located right next to the brick wall beside 75 Linnet. It is positioned too close (less than a metre) to the building structures and pavement. As an ash tree, its root system will quickly cause pavement lifting and potential subsidence/cracking to the adjacent property. The branches are also already rubbing against the side of the property. Please could someone inspect this location and arrange to have the tree cut down and the stump treated before it causes costly structural damage? Thanks, David
