The surface is broken up and damaged by a motor ve Reported anonymously at 17:36, Sat 13 August 2022 The footpath/cycleway is in a terrible state of repair, in places earth has broken through the centre of the path where a heavy motor vehicle has driven along there causing damage. It's a danger to pedestrians and cyclists alike, last year there were signs up to resurface it but all they did was scrape the weeds away at the edges and caused further damage with their equipment to the pathways surface. There's about a mile of damage from the small bridge on the corner to just past the sewage works. Lots of people walk and cycle that way, if it's dark it's dangerous to walk or cycle along because there's no lighting along there to help see the many potholes and damaged parts.
