Damaged wall @ 312 Thorpe Rd, Longthorpe Reported anonymously at 19:04, Thu 10 September 2020 No. 312 Thorpe Rd is located behind a bus stop and next to a public right of way connecting Thorpe Rd and Melford Close. I walk through this alleyway frequently and have noticed that the wall belonging to No.312 is in a poor condition both along the alley and on Thorpe Rd. Pieces of stone have fallen onto the alleyway and the wall looks unstable. The wall has been crumbling for several years The house has a Connells Estate Agents ' Sold ' notice attached to the wall on Thorpe Rd so it may be that the new owners will repair the wall but I feel it is in a dangerous state as it currently stands. There is also an issue with access through the right of way as it is becoming clogged with leaf and foilage debris and is slippery in parts. I don't believe it has been swept for some time, certainly not for several months.
