Tree removal inquiry Reported anonymously at 13:54, Mon 13 July 2020 Trees backing onto my property on council land are becoming a real cause for concern due to their size and height. Not only do they block light but one is close to my rear garage wall. I am regularly paying a tree surgeon alot of money to remove the overhanging branches. They are sycamore trees which are prolific self seeders and their invasive nature is ruining the natural hedgerow. They are not a tree native to the UK and I cannot understand why a tree that has the easy capability to grow over 75 feet tall with a lifespan of over 200 years was considered suitable for planting so close to properties. I respectfully ask that consideration is given to removing these trees or at the very least the height reduced.
