No lighting on Crowland side of bridge across A47 at Eye Reported anonymously at 23:02, Thu 31 October 2019 I commute to work using the Stagecoach buses and walk from the church in Eye to Eye Green across the A47. While the side of the bridge closest to Eye is fine, the lighting on the Crowland side (closest to the services) is non-existent. For a stretch the bridge is in complete darkness as soon as the sun sets, and this has been a problem for at least the last couple of years. Not only is this a worry in not being able to see anybody approaching, but in the dark it is harder to maintain steady footing, as the bridge is often slippery due to rainwater, and ice in the colder months. There are lights on the roundabout which would illuminate the bridge, but these don't seem to ever be turned on.
